Outdoor Ed Program
Learn beyond the classroom. Explore beyond the shoreline.
Our Outdoor Education SUP Program offers a unique, hands-on learning experience for homeschool students, combining stand-up paddleboarding with immersive environmental education on the waters of Ghost Lake and the Bow River.
In this small-group setting, students don’t just learn about ecosystems — they experience them. Through guided exploration, they’ll discover how watersheds, wetlands, fish habitats, and weather systems are all connected, while building confidence and independence on the water.
Each session blends skill development and real-world learning. Students progress through fundamental paddleboarding skills while working toward their Paddle Canada Flatwater 1 skills award, gaining both practical skills and a meaningful sense of accomplishment.
This program is designed to support Home Education Regulations through movement, observation, and critical thinking. Whether identifying signs of aquatic life, understanding environmental impact, or navigating changing weather conditions, students develop a deeper awareness of the natural world around them.
With a maximum of four participants, every child benefits from personalized coaching, strong connection, and a supportive learning environment.
Whether your child is new to paddleboarding or ready to build on existing skills, this program offers a powerful combination of education, adventure, and personal growth — all outside.
